Pay-for-Print Locations
To print from your Windows-based computer through a WIRED or WIRELESS connection on campus, download the installer for your location BELOW. If you are using a Mac, follow the PDF directions listed next to each print queue.
To print to the AirPrint station printers, download drivers and instructions from the AirPrint driver download page.
About
Print Services runs the pay-for-print student printing system on all three campuses of George Mason University. Currently, we are providing this service with UniPrint™ from Pharos Systems, Inc.
Capabilities
We currently support printing in all locations on 8 1/2 x 11 (Letter) paper, with options to duplex in some areas where hardware permits.
Payment Methods
The Pharos release stations can only accept MASON MONEY. Mason Money can be deposited on the retail portion of a Mason ID or on a copy card purchased from teller machines at the following locations:

Cost
As a part of our sustainability initiatives, we have offered reduced printing charges in certain locations where the printing equipment is capable of 2-sided printing (duplex). The locations that offer this can be found in the locations section below.
Black and White| 8 1/2 x 11 Single-Sided | $0.10 per page |
| 8 1/2 x 11 Double-Sided | $0.10 for the first side $0.05 for the 2nd side |
| 8 1/2 x 11 Single-Sided | $0.25 per page |
Equipment
The pay-for-print installation at GMU utilizes the following printers at multiple locations:
- Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 9040dn
- Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 8150
- Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4250
- Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4000
- Hewlett-Packard Color LaserJet 4500
- Hewlett-Packard Business Inkjet 3000
- Ricoh Aficio SP8100DN
Locations and Print Drivers
The following Pay-for-Print locations are the only printer devices that Print Services supports. If you are having trouble with a printer in a location not on this list, please call the ITU Support Center at 3-8870 or e-mail itusupport@gmu.edu.
PLEASE NOTE: The download links below (and printing to the Pay-for-Print servers) will only work on-campus or through VPN.
These drivers are currently only available for Windows XP installations. 64-bit Windows support is available on all campuses, and we will add 64-bit installers as time permits.
